Some of Michigan’s most influential leaders will gather on Mackinac Island later this month to discuss key issues facing the state.
The Detroit Regional Chamber announced the agenda Wednesday.
Conference Chair Suzanne Shank announced the theme — “Bridging the Future Together.” It’ll be focused on collaboration to moving Michigan forward.
“We feel that when it comes to our greatest lessons, issues and opportunities, Michigan will prosper when its leaders engage with mutual respect and build bridges to move forward regardless of political party, industry, or whether you’re on the east or west side of the state,” Shank said.
For the bi-partisan debate, the chamber invited the top three polling candidates from each party for U.S. Senate. They are U.S. Representative Elissa Slotkin, Nasser Beydoun, Sandy Pensler, Mike Rodgers, Justin Amash, and Hill Harper.
