A suspect is in custody following a chase with police in Cass County on Friday.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were notified around 3:20 a.m. that the Elkhart County Sheriff Department was in pursuit of a vehicle believed to be driven by a suspect involved in a domestic incident in Elkhart.
Cass County deputies spotted the driver and gave chase.
The driver fled north from the Edwardsburg area and into Jefferson Township, where the chase ended due to police deploying spike strips that deflated his tires.
The suspect was taken to the Cass County Jail. His name has not been released.
