The Niles Scream Park has welcomed its 2.6 millionth interior visitor.
The park says Harper Benjamin, a senior at Valparaiso High School, was visitor 2.6 million last Sunday. As a result of her good fortune, she received a special “ghost pack” of goodies from the Niles Scream Park.
Along with her for the frights was friend Ryan Newbold, also of Valparaiso. Harper says she’s been going to the attraction since freshman year, but this was Ryan’s first time there.
Open weekends through October 29 and Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4, the Scream Park is located on Mayflower Road in Niles. It’s a non-profit that operates with the help of volunteers. Each year, the Niles Scream Park donates proceeds to causes selected by its volunteers. It also awards them scholarships.
This is the Scream Park’s 50th year.
