Lake Michigan College has partnered with Arizona State University to provide students with a better transfer experience. LMC Registrar Sara Skinner tells us they’ll use the MyPath2ASU program to help LMC students transfer to ASU. MyPath2ASU is ASU’s transfer admission guarantee. It provides students with tools and resources to transfer from community colleges and universities. Skinner says the arrangement could mean more LMC graduates go to ASU.

“That’s what we’re hoping,” Skinner said. “Knowing too that Arizona State has a large online offering, we’re hoping it will be a good option for students who don’t necessarily want to leave the state to have this opportunity.”

The ASU program will help identify courses that directly apply to ASU’s majors and degree programs, saving time and money while ensuring a smoother credit transfer process. ASU and LMC will now collaborate to promote degree pathways both on-campus and online. Skinner says LMC has a similar arrangement with Sienna Heights University, and plenty of LMC students head there. You can find out more right here.
