The Bridgman Open-Air Market will host a pet adoption day this weekend. The market says two local rescue groups will be at the market with adoptable pets for everyone to meet and mingle with on Sunday. The groups include the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan and Animal Aid of Southwestern Michigan. Members from each will be on hand to talk with those interested in adopting a pet from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. The Bridgman Open-Air Market is held each Sunday in the parking lot behind United Federal Credit Union on the corner of Lake Street and Red Arrow Highway.
