 1920, for some reason, the U.S. Post Office Department ruled that Children May NOT Be Sent by Parcel Post.

1966, police became Required to Tell Suspects Their Rights because of the Supreme Court’s decision in the Miranda v. Arizona case. The justices ruled that suspects must be informed of their Constitutional Rights prior to questioning by police.  These rights are now known as Miranda Rights because of 23-year-old Ernesto Miranda . . . the criminal who took his case to the Supreme Court.
