Republican Congressman Bill Huizenga easily won reelection Tuesday in the Fourth District. That’s the district that covers northern Berrien County on up to Holland. Huizenga’s district includes St. Joseph, the home of Congressman Fred Upton, who opted not to run against Huizenga in a primary to remain in Congress. Upton retires at the end of this term. Huizenga defeated Democrat Joseph Alfonso for the win this week. This will be Huizenga’s seventh term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
