Several auto companies and suppliers promising to cut their greenhouse emissions in half over the next decade, as part of the U.S. Energy Department’s “Better Climate Challenge.” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm says the companies and the government have agreed to work together to share the best ways of cutting greenhouse emissions.
