Meet Crumpit and Chernobyl, our #PetsOfTheWeek!

These lovely ladies have become fast friends during their time at Al-Van, spending their days playing, lounging, and sharing whispered cat secrets. They’ve also both tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which means they have a weakened immune system and benefit from regular veterinary care, a healthy diet, and a low-stress environment. FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives and they have just as much love to give as any other feline.

Crumpit is a 1-year-old bundle of playful energy and curious charm. She came to us as a young kitten and has grown up at the shelter, making her more than ready to finally experience the comforts of home. She’s full of zoomies and affection, and she’d love nothing more than to bring her joyful spirit into your life.

Chernobyl, a stunning 2-year-old white cat, arrived as a young mom and lovingly raised her kittens before turning her attention to finding her own forever home. She’s on the shy side and likes to take things slow, but once she feels safe, she reveals her gentle, affectionate personality. She appreciates a calm space and the chance to approach on her own terms and she’s absolutely worth the wait.

While Crumpit and Chernobyl don’t have to be adopted together, they make a great team and would thrive in a home where they can continue their friendship. They would do best in a home with no other cats or with other FIV+ companions. If you’re looking to add a little love (and a lot of personality) to your life, these two sweethearts are ready to meet you.
